If you read the Holmes stories of Arthur Conan Doyle as a kid, or
you watched the Sherlock Holmes movies from the 1940's (Basil Rathbone), or the Granada television series about Holmes
in the '90's (Jeremy Brett), this is the place for you. Our literary group meets monthly at local Nashville eateries (pubs!)
to discuss a story from the canon (the 60 Sherlock Holmes stories). We sell and trade each other our collected books, and
make plans to visit other Sherlockian groups in the area.
You certainly don't have to be a Holmes scholar to visit our
meetings. Many members came the first time just out of curiosity. Being curious and adventurous are traits of a good
Sherlockian. We also began an online group called WelcomeHolmes, presently the largest discussion group about Sherlock Holmes on the world
wide web. You can be as anonymous or as active as you like. We have fun and invite you to join us. If you would like to know
more about the origin of Sherlock Holmes check out this link , or the BBC pages on the character and legacy of Sherlock Holmes.
