May meeting - More
complete report to follow. This is just a brief report on the wonderful visit by Chris and Susan Redmond of Waterloo, CA.
Chris created The Sherlockian Net in 1994, and was honored with membership into the Nashville Scholars of the 3 Pipe Problem.

April meeting - Bill Baker, Gael Stahl, Al Marino, Bob and Joyce White, Jerome Boynton, Mary
Margarette Jordan, Bill Markie, and Kay Blocker met at Charlie Bob’s for the April 3PP meeting. Kay stood in for the
absent Billy Fields
Business discussed – The picnic will be July 19 at the home of the Stahls. The usual
June picnic date was not possible due to a scheduling conflict with the Stahls. Time will be decided later.
2009
Reading schedule – We have read and re-read the Canon several times since 1982. In light of this, we decided next year
to go back to reading in canonical order, mixed with other Doyle writings. This decision was reached after discussions from
the March and April meetings.
The 2008 schedule will continue as planned with the exception that
“The Red Headed League” has been replaced
by “The Stockbroker’s Clerk”. Gael volunteered to be quizmaster for STOC.
