Davice G. SHARPE
Nashville, TN
Age 69
October 16, 2003.

Mrs. Sharpe always lived life to its fullest finding pleasure in the smallest of details. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. For every life she touched she will be remembered for her strength, spirit and determination. Retired from her career as a Higher Education Administrator she felt one of the important jobs she ever held was being a volunteer for more than 40 years with the Girls Scouts. Starting as a troop leader and then a trainer she also had the privilege of serving 10 years on the National Board of Directors. She was a devoted Sherlockian for more than 25 years and a member of the local Nashville Scholars. Survived by her loving husband, Matt Sharpe; daughter, Diane Johnson of NH; sons, Jeffrey Chimene of AZ; Bruce Chimene of NY; and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Davice G. Sharpe to the local Girl Scout Council. "

At Saturday's meeting of the Nashville Scholars of the Three Pipe Problem, we did an informal memorial for Davice. She was cremated and according to her husband, there will be no official memorial service.
